A fire in an abandoned Riegel Paper Co. building in Riegelsville, N.J., across the Delaware River from Riegelsville in Bucks County, drew response from at least four fire companies and three rescue squads last night.
The Riegelsville fire chief said the initial alarm came into the Riegelsville Fire Company. He said he was aware that there was a second alarm and more alarms coming.
The fire chief said the building was abandoned and there was no one working there at the time.
The Upper Black Eddy, Williams Township, and Alpha, N.J., fire companies also responded, as did the Bloomsbury, Milford and Riegelsville emergency squads.
